Following the resounding academic success of our inaugural series, the Department of Computer Science at Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science & Technology (QUEST), Nawabshah, proudly organizes the 2nd International Conference on Computing Sciences and Emerging Trends (ICCSET 2027).

This prestigious iteration provides an exceptional, elite forum for international researchers, scientists, and industry professionals to present cutting-edge breakthroughs across core theories, methodologies, and applications. Submissions span across all major vectors of computing, including Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, and Cybersecurity. πŸ”’ Submission Guidelines & Double-Blind Review Policy

To guarantee an unbiased evaluation, ICCSET 2027 implements a strict double-blind peer-review process. Manuscript submissions must omit all author names, institutional affiliations, and direct self-references. Initial papers must be prepared in standard IEEE format and must not exceed six (06) pages. Manuscripts violating these guidelines will be rejected immediately without review.

Special Issue Publications

Conference proceedings will publish the abstracts of accepted papers online. Extended versions of selected high-quality papers will be invited for publication in special issues of the following HEC Recognized Y-Category Journals (applicable Article Processing Charges apply per journal policies):

Dr. Tariq Rahim Soomro is an academic associated with IoBM in Karachi, Pakistan, possessing over 29 years of global experience across international accreditation tracks. He holds the distinction of being the first Pakistani to earn a BSc, MSc, and Ph.D. fully in Computer Science. Additionally, he is recognized as a Senior IEEE member for his extensive contributions to the field.

Dr. Poompat Saengudomlert earned his B.S.E. from Princeton University (1996) under a royal scholarship from the King of Thailand, followed by an M.S. (1998) and Ph.D. (2002) from MIT, where he also completed a postdoc. He taught telecommunications at the Asian Institute of Technology as an Assistant and Associate Professor from 2005 to 2013. Since May 2013, he has served as a Research Scholar and Associate Professor in Telecommunication Engineering at BU-CROCCS, Bangkok University.

Dr. Yasir Arafat Malkani is an Assistant Teaching Professor at Florida International University, USA, and a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Pakistan. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Sussex, UK, specializing in secure device pairing and ubiquitous computing. With extensive expertise in cybersecurity, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Wireless Sensor Networks, his current research focuses on smart computing, IoT-enabled healthcare, industrial Digital Twins, and applied AI.

Dr. Shafiullah Soomro is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Computer Science and Media Technology at Linnaeus University, Sweden. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Chung-Ang University, South Korea, specializing in advanced image segmentation. Dr. Soomro’s research operates at the intersection of Computer Vision, Medical Imaging Segmentation, Explainable AI Frameworks, and predictive Data Science. He actively drives high-impact global projects, including the international ForestMap initiative for automated forest inventory and the predictive machine learning modeling of advanced materials.

Prof. Dr. Farhat Naureen Memon is a Professor of Computer Science and the Director of the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at the University of Sindh, Pakistan. She holds a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from the University of Essex, UK, and possesses over 20 years of international teaching and research experience. Her expertise operates at the intersection of Data Science, Bioinformatics, and Artificial Intelligence, with major contributions to regional computing curricula and e-learning transformations.

Dr. Nisar Ahmed Dahri is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Advanced Learning Technology at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He completed both his Ph.D. in Information Technology and his Postdoc in Digital Education at UTM. A distinguished academician and researcher, his specialized focus centers on digital education, mobile learning, human-computer interaction, and the integration of generative AI within modern classroom frameworks.

Prof. Dr. Sarwat Nizamani is a Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Computer Science at The University of Mirpurkhas. She holds a PhD in Information and Communication Technology from the University of Southern Denmark. With over 20 years of research and academic governance experience, her work focuses on Data Structures, Machine Learning, and curriculum design frameworks.

With extensive international experience at the University of Southampton Malaysia and administrative leadership as former Director ORIC, his research centers on digital transformation, AI, and graphics systems.

Dr. Dostdar Hussain is working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Karakoram International University, Gilgit-Baltistan. He has research interest in Geo-informatics, Machine Learning, Artificial Neural Networks. He has worked on many research projects, among the notable projects include: β€œBaseline Assessment of Agriculture Water, Energy and Climate Induced Water Hazards in Upper Indus Basin”.

Dr. Umm-e-Laila holds the position of Associate Professor and heads the Software Engineering Program within the College of Computer Science and Information Systems (CCSIS) at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM). With over 22 years of experience in research and teaching in Computer Science and Engineering, she holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information Technology from NED University of Engineering and Technology, along with MS and BS degrees from Sir Syed University. Her expertise spans Open-Source Software, Software Engineering, IoT, Big Data, and Artificial Intelligence.
